Pro Stock Tour Heads to Petty Raceway for Season Finale Mr. Lube + Tires 150

(Halifax, NS – October 1, 2025) – The Fort Garry Industries Pro Stock Tour will close their 25th Anniversary Season this Saturday, October 4th at Petty International Raceway. The Mr. Lube + Tires 150 at Petty is the rain date for an event originally scheduled in June. The event marks round 10 of 10 for the FGI Pro Stock Tour. Qualifying at the event, including Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races, kicks off at 2:00pm.

The FGI Pro Stock Tour title chase took a turn during the Mr. Lube + Tires 200 at Scotia Speedworld. With mechanical misfortune for six-time feature winner Cory Hall (Jolicure, NB) late in the race and Ashton Tucker (Miramichi, NB) picking up his second victory of the year, the tables have turned the way of Tucker. The No. 2 Brad Silliker Motorsports Chevrolet team find themselves heading into the Season Finale with a 23-point lead over Hall. Reigning Tour champion Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) is 43 points behind Tucker and is well within contention should the top two stumble on Saturday afternoon.

In short – a fifth-place finish or better on Saturday for Tucker, regardless of what happens in Atlantic Tiltload Qualifying or with bonus points for laps led applied, will clinch the title for the Miramichi driver. Tucker has finished every FGI Pro Stock Tour feature on the podium in 2025, save for a seventh-place finish in the Summer Clash 250 presented by Superior Foundations and Atlantic Tiltload at Scotia Speedworld in August. Both Tucker and Hall will look to become the first Tour champion to represent New Brunswick since Shawn Tucker’s (Fredericton) last championship in 2010.

While $15,000 will go to the season long championship team after the Mr. Lube + Tires 150, teams are fighting for their share of nearly $50,000 in the season long championship point fund. Besides the title tilt, the battle for fifth in points sees third year full-time driver Ryan VanOirschot (Antigonish, NS) with a 20-point cushion on the returning Braden Langille (Shubenacadie, NS) and 24 markers over Jordan Veinotte (Porter’s Lake, NS).

The Mr. Lube + Tires 150 will also see the Series debut of Brandon Albert (Summerside, PE). Albert, who climbed the ladder racing Four Cylinders and Street Stocks at Oyster Bed Speedway with a stop in Sportsman cars, has a handful of Pro Late Model starts in the region this season.
