Fix Network Raises $146,630 For RMHC® Across Canada

Contributions made in 2022 will enable more than 872 nights of accommodation for families with seriously ill children across Canada.

MILTON, ON—March 2, 2023: After hosting more than 10 events throughout 2022, the leading automotive aftermarket network in Canada, along with its employees and strategic partners, raised $146,630 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada® (RMHC® Canada).

Throughout 2022, Fix Network hosted fundraisers at various events from a “national conference fundraiser” to a successful “golf tournament sponsorship” among others where employees and strategic partners donated generously to RMHC’s 34 programs that provide support for families during a tender and difficult time.

“The Fix Network charity events continue to be a crucial component of our mission,” Sylvain Seguin, president of Fix Network Canada said. “Our franchisees and partners always look forward to events where we get together and raise much-needed funding for families in need.”

“When you find out your child is seriously ill, life instantly turns upside down. Today, 2 out of 3 Canadians do not live near a children’s hospital. This means travel to access healthcare and medical treatment if a child becomes seriously ill is essential for so many,” Leslie Hederson, National Partnerships director of RMHC Canada said.

Despite the challenges presented by COVID-19 restrictions and the restraint the virus has on the health of many, Fix Network remained determined to support its charity of choice, RMHC Canada, and its families by creating both in-person and virtual fundraising events for a record number of contributions.

“At RMHC Canada, we are deeply grateful to Fix Network for their longstanding partnership and the funding they enable,” Henderson said. “Together with their staff and strategic partners, they wonderfully supported more than 872 nights of accommodation for families with sick children in the last year alone. On behalf of RMHC right across Canada, thank you Fix Network for being there for us, so we can be there for families when they need it most.”

Fix Network, its employees and strategic partners have been fundraising for RMHC across Canada since 2016. 2022 saw more Fix Network hosted events than any previous year, bringing total contributions to over $359,000 since the partnership began.
