ATA to launch TPMS Training
By Graham Conrad
Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems is the single most important change to the Automotive Industry since Fuel Injection. Every vehicle made after September 1, 2007 in the USA will be equipped with TPMS. Consequently, Automotive Service & Repair Providers both mechanical and Auto Body will have to learn the new procedures and practices related to installing, changing or rotating tires or suffer the extremely expensive costs that will result if mistakes are made.
TPMS training in progress.
For this reason, the Automotive Trades Association has engaged Mr. David Giles, Nationally Accredited Automotive Industry Trainer and well known to the Atlantic Canada Automotive Industry, to deliver high level training on this very important new technology. Mr. Giles will bring his TPMS training to nine locations throughout Nova Scotia. This is not a tire course, instead, it is hands on training and the only course needed to learn the necessary skills to deal with Tire Pressure Monitoring.
