Dartmouth single mother wins her first new car!

Dartmouth, Nova Scotian declared final winner of Nissan Versa project

Jane Walsh of Dartmouth, NS is the tenth and final winner of the Versa Project from Nissan Canada. Through this contest, Nissan celebrated Versa, the small car that makes driving fun, as it continues to make its mark with consumers. “Winning my car through the Versa Project truly means the world to me,” said Walsh. “Now, I will be able to give my family the Christmas that they deserve.”

The single mother of one had always bought used cars, but after her last one became unsafe she decided to buy her very first new car. She test-drove nine cars before deciding on the Versa which she purchased at O’Regan’s Nissan in Halifax. Walsh immediately fell in love with the Versa’s roomy and comfortable interior and was pleasantly surprised to find out she had been entered into the contest.

“Through the duration of the Versa Project, we were delighted to celebrate the Versa by rewarding our customers,” said Wendy Durward, Director, Marketing Communications, Nissan Canada Inc. “We are very happy to announce Ms. Walsh as our tenth and final winner of the Versa Project and congratulate all ten winners on their new cars!” Walsh is thrilled with her prize. She is using her winnings to pay for her new Versa.
