ATA goes Caribbean at the
2007 Conference & Trade show

Over one hundred and twenty industry delegates enjoyed another successful forum of entertainment, business learning, fine dining and networking at Oak Island Resort and Spa. This year’s event was another huge success as stated by attendees.The weekend began with Friday’s golf game, complemented by beautiful weather, a Leadership workshop facilitated by the Automotive Sector Council and Pam Patons’ Marimba dinner music. |
Over fifty delegates participated in Ms. Paton’s exciting Caribbean drum and maraca music circle, as seen in photos. Once again, the ATA recognizes the outstanding support from Jamie Reid, President of A.P. Reid Insurance Stores for the Gold Sponsorship for the weekend.

Bill Marcus of RV Wheel Estate added an extra touch to Saturday afternoon by offering delegates boat rides around Oak Island. A special thanks to Bill for his contribution to the weekend. Notable mention goes to Mr. Bob Greenwood, CEO of EK Williams & Co. (Ontario) Ltd. for delivering a stimulating and insightful vision of the future of the automotive aftermarket industry in his Saturday evening address to all delegates.

ATA insurance provider Medavie Blue Cross introduced a new benefits program for employers, employees and their families. JP Girard of Shapell-fgi summarized the details of this new and exciting benefits program, and an Industry roll out will happen in the beginning of June.
Sunday morning Prize-O-Rama was yet another huge success, with a new addition.Congratulations to Dale and Elena Bancroft for winning two Air Canada tickets for anywhere in North America, donated by Eric Sheppard at Robin’s Donuts.
